Math work stations video shoot
December 14, 2011 by debbiediller
I had a blast shooting my new math work stations DVD at Askew Elementary School in Houston recently. The students, teachers, and crew were amazing and I think you will all love the end product — due out in mid-2012. Here are some snapshots of what went on behind the scenes. Also check out this cute little story on the Stenhouse Blog about the shoot.

It's a bit scary to have that boom hang over my head!

You are so stinkin’ cute! I am sure your DVD will be a HUGE hit and you will continue to shape our thinking about math.

Debbie,
I teach in a half-day kindergarten program:{{ I love the literacy work stations and use them successfully. However, I have my math tubs filled but am unable to get the math time in daily. By the time I have had my model lesson, guided practice, and then they disperse and work on this particular activity/skill……when do the math tubs get used?
You look fabulous in the pictures and I am sure the video will be amazing. Can’t wait to see it! You have really transformed how I do math workstations and my students thank you for that!! There is nothing more exciting then having a student say, ” I figured out how to use mental math to multiply by 9′s!”
