I’ve been using your Literacy Work Stations for quite sometime in my kindergarten class. And then I found out about your Math Stations! However, in the new school year, I will be teaching grade 6. I’ve seen the extension of your Literacy Stations for grades 3-6 in Practice with Purpose. I was wondering if you were going to extend the Math Stations as well.

]]>I have added a post on my blog with chapter notes and resources for those of us who were a little behind. It goes all the way back to the beginning of the book.

You have time to catch up — I am sure the discussion will remain in the archives of participating blogs.

]]>With work stations in mind, would it be better to order a couple of long (72″) tables(for large group time) & then the children can be on the floor around the room for work stations, or order smaller tables & scatter the tables for the work stations. My husband said longer tables will take up less room. I guess my main question is: Are the work stations set up at tables or floor or will it really matter? thanks! ]]>

I’m looking forward to studying and learning from all the teachers reading the book. ]]>
