Last week I had the privilege of previewing a new school slated to open this fall in Graham, WA. Wow! What a place! Nelson Elementary opens this fall, and teachers had input into the design of their new facility. The principal and a few teachers took me on a tour during our lunch break so I could help them think about their new space. They are all teaching with literacy work stations and small groups and have done studies of my books. Here are a few pics of some of their great space-efficient ideas. Look for more pics after they move into their new school!
